Adjust your computer's volume to suit...
It may be that your whole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Disc lock, yes, but mostly it is just a visible and audible deterrent. I can hear it from my bedroom when it goes off on the drive, and that's good enough for me.
And I can carry it when I go out, slap it on a disc and there's a noise when anyone tries to move the bike.

And they're just the right thickness to put one under the sidestand to hold it almost upright when checking the oil.....result.

But you need to replace the six little cells inside quite often, at least every six months, so buy cells in bulk.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

One of these, had it for years.
Also a boss alarm lock when it's going to be left more than just during the day.
One will go off while they're trying to cut or break the other.

Don't bother about the spiral string, just leave your bike keys in the pouch and you have to get the pouch in your hand and so can't ride off and forget.
