CP comes with rings, that's why I chose them over JE. Os rings Honda doesn't provide anymore.

Engine is partly assembled, and now waiting for cams timing setup, what will be the hardest part. Then check if there is enough clearance between piston and valves. Whole bike should be ready till the end of next week if everything will be good.

Meanwhile I took two crappy pictures of ported heads:

I like what you have done to the dividers but why have you done that to the guides ?

Lube, no lube, it's your choice .

guides are shortened, not me doing it. I can only believe that on of the most reputable tuners here knows his job :D He dealt with twins before, including VTR SP. But honestly I really don´t know what kind of performance I will get.

Oh ok
Be interesting to see what you manage to get from it tho .
How long till you get it up and running .

I expect to get it on dyno during May, and bike should be ready next week as I wrote before.

Timing is ready, valve to piston clearance is fine - over 2mm. Next week I will run the thing.

I rather expect it will run like shite for the first attempt :-) Really don´t know where jetting should be. Hopefully, at the end, there will be bike with usable power.

Hi Stephen,

Jeez mate you have sunk some time and money into your bike!

Will be very interesting to see the figures from the dyno runs.

Me thinks that you will have some bragging rites!

Hi Ken, will see :-)

Just for your interest, water pump impeller is removed and hole welded, so sealing is now bulletproof. I also try thermostat setup with bypass hole, as I still don´t see reason why it couldn´t work. We have colder climate here so it is useful.

edit: need to revise that: thermostat still out, as oem short circuit pipe goes to the old pump location, and I won´t mess with routing to get it before the new electric one. So setup will be the same, just with new improved sealing, old impeller could fail one time as it is not rotating anymore.
