Flash is being deprecated (and quite right too) therfore Apple no longer supports it. Hence the reason you cannot play Flash on your iPad. HTML5 is the way to go....

The majority of video on the web is made to play in Adobe Flashplayer, for example on You Tube. The Flash player is a plugin that is required to view Flash based movies within your web browser.

Flash is being faded out on the web and is slowly being taken over by a html 5 player. Unfortunatly for some Appple and Adobe don't get on like they used to. Apple no longer supports Flash on it mobile devices or ipad's.

I have just come across this that may be of help http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/iswifter ... 57173?mt=8 I don't know what it's like as I have not tried it, but it may be a solution in the meantime untill You Tube and all these other sites make the swap to html5.

Hope that helps, but IMHO I would just use a Computer not the Ipad and then you will be able to view the web in all it's glory
