My TDM850

Post by alec »

Hi Guys and Gals
have spent a few more hours sorting the tdm out, gradually getting it to how i want it.
here's a few pics to show the work done so far. constructive comments are always welcome.

this is how it looked when i got it, hated the yellow and bullet hole stickers but it was the bike i wanted,
Image

first job was to make a vario screen (which i soon remade better)

then it was time to change the colour scheme which i decided to do matt black for a stealthy look lol so i sprayed the front mudguard and seat panel.
Image

finally got round to doing the nose cone and side fairings last week but am stuck on the tank colour scheme. also had the forks carbon wrapped by a mate on another forum.

and yesterday i applied some graphics and decided to turn the exhaust into a stubby, sounds awesome.

i hope i haven't bored you to much but the bike is my pride and joy and thought i'd share all my hard work with you kind people.
cheers
Alec

Cheers guys,
thinking of a viper stripe through the tank and maybe matt black where the knee wells are protected with a pad.

My TDM850

Very smart. What's the power, handling like compare with say a GS. Seems like a great bike.

I'm thinking about a more upright sort of bike. Used to have a GS and loved it. But they are expensive.

This as well as a TRX have caught my eye as a decent Nike for the money.
No bike (yet).

they handle well and the power is great for an 850, they do burn oil though.

that black look works well with the frame and engine in silver. I think the matt finish is classy touch...........but gold bar ends

This mainly because he has very very small hands, so can't hold 'em in & twist the throttle!

Only joking Alec, it looks really good, far better without the bullet holes!

Although I'm still suspicious that you only show it from one side!
