I fitted a replacement rear wheel speed and abs sensor on the Tuono and took it out for a test ride last night, it has fixed the fault codes and warnings on the dash I was getting in Devon. It sometimes blipped and let me downshift and sometimes didn't, also turning off traction control and abs along with most of the electronics at random when it chose to.
So throughout the weekend I sometimes had an electronic safety net, and sometimes I didn't, but I always had full power- which made it interesting ...thank god for sticky rubber.

Fixed now, though, which is good, as I tested pos for COVID this morning and am not allowed out to the garage.
Should be clear for the 25th Annie run though.

Mainly I have been sorting RXNine out, full service, did the steering races, rplaced the front callipers with a refurbed set, bled them up...Sorted a bracket for some indis that will pass an mot. Repaced lots of non standrd bolts & bodges.

Still a few bits to do, need to check rear shock linkage & the rear calliper needs sorting...by sorting I mean swap with a refreshed one... & a 101 other things...

Hey all,

What was supposed to be a simply job turned into one horrid dirty cleaning fest. Messy pics are after I scraped out about a lb of gritty, oily dough and three rounds of engine degreaser. Have to start polishing that swingarm though

Bit more work on RXNine prior to an MOT on Friday...

Sorted out the fast flashing indis on one side ? by fitting an LED realy.

Sorted out the rear callipper. Put some grease on the spindle when putting the wheel back in...Recent tyre change, why wasnt it greased then ?

Removed a shock spacer. Theres some paperwork from when the shock was fitted & it notes a lack of clearence to the exhaust/shock linkage due to a spacer being fitted... Why the fek the idiot didn't remove it when he put the shock in ??? This is a shop mechanic, so whoever had the bike paid someone to fit it...

Got the hot air gun out & took all the tacky stickers off, residue removed with GT85 & then polished as well.
