I hope it's nothing too serious Rob. You are the 2nd person I have heard from this week with a very similar situation to you,

Out for a spin on the Murvinator... Surprisingly mild out there today.

I might even treat it to a clean sometime soon it still has the flies from DevonStorm on it overlaid with bits of Wales.

So Yeah It needs a clean

So, I had a msg about Wax via FB Marketplace, the norm AI 'is it still available' My reply 'Yes it is'

Anyhoo it was arranged for yesterday around 13.30.

So I pulled it out with the intention to fire it up to check all was well...

Would the fecker start...

Batt went flat pretty quickly, so on charge after about an hour, still no fire up...

Used me battery tester & all good except low charge, so kept it on charge.

Guy turns up as promised, still wont fire up...Damm.

Someone else was supposed to come after 18.00 so blew him out with a msg but never got reply...

So put it away, cant be arsed with it today too fecking cold to be out in the cave today, I'll have a look tomorrow.

So batt is ok, it turns over just wont fire, fuel is getting through as you can smell it, need to check if it's getting a spark.

Of course it ran fine back in August when it went for MOT but hasn't been started since...

Meanwhile I checked me spare batteries on the Batt Checker...

3 batt's checked inc the one from Nue Red...All shite. Show full charge but come up as 'Replace' ... :x

I took a chance on the weather staying dry on Friday just gone, and took my Storm for a ride-out. Luckily it did stay dry :D
The idea was two fold, one to give the bike a half decent run, and two I wanted to see how my new winter boots and new winter gloves stood up to the colder weather, well colder for me at 7*C, no sun just grey clouds all over!

The good news is the boots were great, feet never felt cold. The winter gloves were not so good however, my hands were lovely and warm to start with, but as the miles went on (5 to 10miles) my fingers were starting to get cold.

Great to get another ride-out in this year :D :D
