Hi Tug, welcome to the Forum, lots of good people on here, and some are really clued up about these machines. I'm sure someone will be able to answer your front cylinder problem soon. I know it isn't unusual for one exhaust to be cooler than the other.

Thanks i dont think keeping it shiny side up will be much of a problem, its so easy to ride it amazes me. I've had a few offs but my one before the VTR knocked me for six and took me into a major spiral or hurt, but you know what they say, you only live twice!

if that's the case then i must be 2 cats lol!
done more than my fair share - i am the one man scrappage scheme lol :silent:

watch out for the overconfidence tho, they are deceptively quick if you push them hard - check out the tips on improving handling, ie jack the back, roger the forks and or fit progressive springs, invest in a penske rear shock, think about upgrading the calipers & m/c etc - loads you can do to get these bikes handling sweet.

already i've noticed the running wide in fast corners, making you drop it down a bit more and soiling your skiddies a bit :/
and the front end giddying up under hard fast braking coming up to dual carriageway roundabouts - with a gixxer up my butt lol

I've not pushed the bike hard enough yet to make me notice, it handles well compaired to my SRAD and my FZR400, Upgrades might be for if i decide to keep it longer than i intend but so far i'm just concerned about it running propperly, I'll read up on the things you suggested.
