Also, what goes on at the bike meet?
Am I right in thinking the meet is McDonalds car park?
I haven't been down to the meeting very many times this year mainly because of the poor weather. I was going this evening as it was lovely this afternoon, but need I say more, the weather changed again
You are right it is held at the McDonalds car park at Hayle, but make sure you keep to the speed limits on the way down if you do decide to go sometime, as the police have been know to be watching out for speeders attending that meet on occasions. I live near Camborne so it's pretty local for me.
What do we do there, a very good question
Basically bump into people (well not literally of course
) you don't normally see, have a look at what bikes etc turn up and generally chat
If the sun is shining you will see a good turn out with plenty of bikes and just a good atmosphere if you're into bikes.
