scubadog wrote:Hi Chris. Thanks for the comments. The seat unit is a complete transplant from a 748S and includes the standard Ducati seat pivot. Makes it really easy getting to all the electrics. The rear lights are mounted in the seat unit so I used a contact switch from the Ford Transit side door to make the connection. There's a pic of that somewhere on the forum.
I like the way you ultalised the Ford Transit side door switch  Much tidier than having trailing wires when you lift up the seat 8)

Wow that looks awesome. Still one of my favourite modded Storms and deserves the title of a Streetfighter.

Thinking about fitting an underseat oil cooler this month. The stock VTR cooler is as much use as a chocolate teapot so will fit a 19-row Earls cooler with a couple of computer fans for cooling. Anyone else done this?
is it for sale?

New Earls oil cooler mounted and plumbed in...

Image

Had to fit the fugger (not a typo... it's a f******g ugly hugger) to prevent road debris splatting the cooler. May be a bit overkill as I've already fitted a cover on the cooler itself...

Image

Not sure if the fugger will stay.

Nope - just see a circle like a National Speed Limit, with the word "image".

The properties say the new pics are from "DropBox", where-as the very top (visable) pics are from static-Flickr.
If it ain't broken...f*ck about with it until it is.

Buggeration.

Some of the earlier pics have disappeared because I closed my Flikr account yesterday. Apparently Flikr's changed the way you link to images on their site and it's now a complete ball-ache. Well it is for a forum dullard like me. So f**k 'em. I've got a Dropbox account and tried to create links there - looks like it hasn't worked.

Once I've figured out how to upload images again I'll repopulate the earlier posts with the images that have disappeared. But I need someone's help to figure this sh1t out!! Any advice would be welcome - recommended hosting sites etc etc. And PLEASE... advice in plain English!!

FFS...

Hi Scoobs photobucket i found is easy even for a computer dunce like me!!! :? just upload your pics then in your post on here click on the IMG box at top then in your photobucket click on the DIRECT box to the right of your picture it automatically copies the link then back to here and paste it between the [IMG] paste it here[IMG] . hope this makes sense for you easiest way i have found anyway.
