Hello Everyone

Post by Phil-VTwin »

I have lurking around the forum for ages, tried to register but never got a confirmation email but anyway i decided to try the login today and it worked!! :D

I have a '99 Midnight Blue Storm with 7500 miles on it, it was unused for 6 years and earlier this year decided to get it back on the road and thanks to the forum workshop learnt a good deal about the bike.
I first modded the CCT's to be fail safe and after the dried petrol varnish was cleaned from the carbs, new oil put in etc went for a short ride, got back after a few miles with a broken front CCT :eek2

So i converted the housing's to manual versions for a few quid using the coach bolts.
Also got the Yam reg for 99p of ebay and fitted that to.

The bike is pretty standard, has a K&N and Dynojet kit which had 180 jets on a standard exhaust, so dropped these to 170 and she is running much better.
