Hi to all you Firestorm fans.
Confession time.............I am NOT new to firestorms having owned mine for about 7 or 8 years, and I am not that new to these forums have used your collective wisdom on many occasions for hints and tips on suspension & tyres but I am ashamed to say I only got round to registering now [better late than never I suppose].
I am based in Solihull near Birmingham, [where all the roads are now getting 50mph limits as far as I can see] and have a low milage, R plate, yellow Storm with very few major mods.:
K&N filter,
Dynojet kit,
Std Pipes with baffle-ectomy [those Microns were TOO LOUD]
Revolution modified forks
WP rear shock set up and revalved by Revs Racing in Haleseowen.
Those last 2 mods are the best money I ever spent on the bike [oh and keeping the front brake pistons clean and free moving, but that is free].
Any how, I may as well start my 1st post with a question. Are there any Midland members on line, and if so where is a good place to get tyres from [and fitted], I used to use Central tyres, but I was after some Conti's before I go off to France, and it looks like they only do Dunlop & Pirelli now.
Hope I can get the chance to give back some new information to make up for all the stuff I have been borrowing till now.
