Post by Stu »

This is my Storm as it was when i picked it up.

Image

Braided front hoses
1/4 throttle
WP suspension front and rear
Stage 1 dynojet
K&N filter
Hi-level MIG cans

currently being hacked to pieces and having:-

custom stubby hi level cans - being built by yours truly
undertray
integrated LED tail light
uprated front indicators
black screen
carbon belly pan
New brake calipers in silver - fireblade ones iirc
sure theres more but I'm fooked if I can remember what - plus hope the misses doesn't see this as she'll kill me over the money spent

oh yeah just thought - new chain and sprockets -1 on front +2 on rear
and once built going back to the dyno for a bit of fettling :)

yeah way too huge for my liking they were 450mm x 98mm but heavily baffled so way to quiet - after removing everything i have worked out an easy way to make them noisy yet keeping a baffle internally for back pressure - but too late for me lol

I made some new brackets up for it but no I had no problems as they're only lengths bent and drilled in the right places - I added more heat insulation to the inside too to prevent it from burning through again. Once it arrives I will place some new Carbon sheeting on the inside to stregthen/ cover the slight damage.

Looking at it now I really need to get a carbon chain guard as it clashes/ looks cheap next to the carbon hugger and lowers
