cheers chaps. Yeah am happy with it so far.

Got 80 miles in on sat for its first run. Am very impressed with the mid range!

I never rode it far on stock suspension but what i have carried out seems good, tracks nice, rides hands off, turns in nice and no bottoming out on the front!

Chris . The pipes aint too loud, they are just nice. Inside i fitted perforated mesh over the internal pipe to damp the noise and also fitted some fabricated washers to the end cap to reduce noise further. And again am happy with them.

Timbo yeah its me lol well almost, thats my little lad, hes nearly 2 and he loves bikes lol, he was giving it a once over lol.

Jb , i have hammered that manual lol. Will have to meet up when the weather turns nice!

Thats a really impressive bike, I'm envious. I would appreciate it if you could let me know how you mounted your Tom Tom to the headstock. I've just bought a Garmin Quest and would like to do a similar mount.

tiger.

What i did was use a bit of 25 x 6 flat drilled to suit the front tank mounts. Then welded a rod to that which i had welded a 25mm solid bearing to. I then used heat shrink on the bearing to protect the ram mount. Bit of black paint. Job done.
If you have a ram mount its easy to swap between bikes due to the knuckle joint arrangement
I have run power for it too.

no problem matey.

i got the bearing from bearing warehouse just round the corner from me free of charge lol.

am not sure if you have access to a tig welder but due to the bearing being hardened i just used the tig to weld on the rod. mig would do but wont be as nice finish although you wont see it anyhow.

iirc i drilled the holes central on the plate but i off set the rod about 2mm ( think i used 8 or 10mm rod ) in the 25mm side and it clears both tank and yokes fine. you might be able to just weld it on the c/l am not sure.

all i know is it works just fine for a ram mount.
