The wife has told me she'll buy me a Torque Wrench for xmas....
I havnt a clue what i should be looking for.
Is there one that i can get that will cover most jobs on the VTR, if so, can you gis us a clue, make/model, price, availability (from) etc......
Cheers.....

You will need three really, any old sh1t for the high torque stuff but then I would get a couple of good en's for the low torque stuff. I have one that goes from 4Nm to 22Nm (really useful on d vtr) and the other goes from 10Nm to 54Nm (also really useful). I have had them for about 8 years and I still trust them.
made by Norbar, just got to find a website now.

Right then:
I have a couple of these and never had a problem with bolts ever snappin off or threading holes, they are about £60 each. the smallest one comes either with or without a rachet, I use one without the rachet.
sizes: 4-20Nm, 8-54Nm, 30-150Nm, 50-230Nm
Need to do some more hunting for a deal somewhere too.
