Big GT

Post by kingster »

Hi All

I'm definately in, as long as it's not totally chucking it down, cos i'ts a long way from Dorset in a thunderstorm on a firestorm!

So, any one else from this far south up for an early start? Otherwise, I'll try and meet up with everyone at Banbury for some grub.

Can't wait to hear the noise!

Breakfast

Post by blackstorm »

Hi All,
Had a quick check around the town and it would seem that Banbury dosent wake up untill about 1100 on a Sunday ( Sounds reasonable to me ) But Sainsburys will be open. It has a restraunt which opens at 1/2 9 on a sunday. English breakfast is £1.99 ( I'l have two) Bacon sarnie £2.50.
Petrol, Loos and parking on site. Sainsburys is on the right on the A4260 as you come into Banbury.
All the best

Think it's unlikely i'll get to Banbury to then come back across to Alcester but looking at the map, think you'll all be spoilt for choice for decent roads

Kingster:
Pete.L and I will prob'ly take a more direct route on up to the meeting point but if you still fancy coming up via Bristol, I'm sure we can arrange to meet or call in at a suitable feeding hole.

Pete.L
Any pref for breakfast venue? :?
Anyone seen the plot!?

Firestormin and Pete.L

If I head up via Bristol way, then I reckon Banbury might be a bit of a detour too, so are you still OK to go up via A-roads or are you thinking of M5? Feeding hole sounds good

Also, what time are you planning on setting off?

Southern shandy drinking pooftah's talking about your breakfasts :-) I have kind of lost the plot so a couple of questions....

A. Is the meet still on

B. Are we still meeting at what is left of the NMM

C. What time is the "gathering" at the venue?

Cheers folks

i take it you're still going then.......?

what's your intended route?, what time are you setting off?

Is Del going?

I'm still keen on it, (but wifey is insisting on going out on the razzle night before, so i might be a bit fragile).....

Cool
Finaly sorted out a leave pass from work so I will be able to make it depending on the weather.

I will be riding down from Notts but not looked on auto route to see which way just yet.

Should be a blast...can't wait.
