Update Jan 2013.Headlight

Post by Flatline »

Earlier in the project I designed and made my own headlight bracket:

However it needs some adjustments, which takes time

So in the meantime I have purchased some ready made brackets

I can get on with other things to make the bike roadworthy, then make a new bracket later

Not the right look though :(

Stripped down the front calipers

Image

Spraying the footrest hangers in the paint booth

Image

Cut the frame at the end

Shaped some frame parts to make the "V"

Image

You may remember I bought some indicators to fit in the end of the frame: Voila!

Image

Will check what it looks like with the frame joined to the end rather than as a "V"

Loving the paint booth. You just need a couple of hairdryers poking through the sides. Don't worry about extraction as fumes are good

Post by Flatline »

I need some tubing for the cafe racer project

The frame is 25mm which I am finding it hard to source

Anyone know where I can get a metre of the stuff?
