Got some already. I've had the use of a lift somewhere else and its so much better, especially when your having to get to the underside. Was looking for a second hand one but in good nick they command 70 % of the price new, so I thought, f**k it, treat yourself.

Balls, your grinders at my house Carl......doh!!!
Sorry dude....
That's why I don't usually lend tools out. It's sods law every time I lend a tool out I need it.

Cheers Lloyd I shall keep that in mind, lets see how I get on tomorrow. It is solid as if it's seized. Unfortunately I don't have a vice so will try some heat, hammers, dremmel and anything else I can find. Dam..I wish I had my angle grinder :(

I like the lift Lee, that will also save your back.

Yep bike needs a good clean. I need to go over the header pipes again as well. I may even take them off one sunny weekend and work on them properly, bring them back to the shine they where when I done them before, better actually...and then coat them in exhaust VHT lacquer.

Rang up the garage and they managed to fit me in for a retest today and it passed. So all good now. Today was a good day for a ride and bike is handling so much better. The difference these bearings have made is incredible. It's shocking I was riding around with them that bad.

If you want a compromise you could always run race cans with baffles in.
