We had a nice trip up to Barnard Castle on the way home though. My supadupa new GPS gave me a fuel stop in Reeth but, being Sunday it wasn't open. Then, since it was set to "curvey roads" took us on an Enduro course.

I looked at the trip log when I got home and it told me I was going 230kmh over a 60m segment on a B road. Hmmm. Back to the drawing board Mr Garmin.

Finally, a big big thanks to all that made it happen. My back tyre is shagged and has cracks down to the carcass (pics later) and apologies to Bazza and Mr Grumpy who may have missed out on the fairwell hugs. I've had a long day at work today and am now ready for bed. Top weekend!

Glad you'll be there Flatty. No worries about the tent.

I've just been on a bit of a shopping spree and bought myself a Lomo bag, camping stove, kettle and tent for this trip.
The tent will be big enough for 2 if you don't have a smaller one to bring?

I take it a kettle and the microwave will not be much use :problem:

Chris,
you and flatty can share your double blow up bed :D .

flatty,
don't bother with microwave and kettle, we use gas for boiling the kettle and its only 100yds to the shops and pubs for hot food.

you up for a ling weekend so ride sunday and home Monday?

Yeah I'll be taking a small gas cooker and kettle.

Tents won't be a problem.

We can snuggle on the double :-)

Great 3 more :-)

So how many are coming now?

I guess me, Al, ady, Pete, kermit, Stuart, fabio +2, macdee, countrymick, possibly flatty, possibly APineapple and poss One other Tony?

So that's possibly 14.

Are we going to need a fast and slow group this year?

I'm up for a "non-boring" ride to Dumfries Mick. Are you on for that?
