Thanks, still need to know can I use after market oils in my Blu vape?.

Chocolate and stuff looks good, hopefully this will get me off of cigarettes and then I only have the easiest part of the addiction to kick off and that's the nicotine. And I will never smoke again.

Blu are crap tbh and don't think they will last long enough to change flavours .

Have a read on this forum

http://ukvapers.org/index.php

Have a look at either the coolfire 4 or kangertech sobox mini kit (40 to 50 quid but worth it)
Both recommended over there (and on here by lloydie)

Loads more power, better vaping experience, flavour and clouds !!!

I'll keep my receipt

So the question is, if my Blu lasts can I put after market oils in it?.

Yes .

but the coil will burn out in a week or two and I don't think you can get replacements
You be better off getting a http://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/151900113962 as it'll work with the ego battery's and you can get replacement coils

I haven't had a fag all week (fag being slang for cigarette for those not in the know  ) Yeh been getting a little stressed and moody. Been sucking on a basic eGo pen style vape like crazy which I have had for over a year. I tried packing in the nasty habit of smoking a few times but slipped back into the old ways. Anyway one of my eGo battery's died and I was getting fed up with charging the single one and then not getting my Nicotine hit while it was charging. It never quite gave me the hit I require when fully charged anyway. So today I have got a Curve 2 Mini and WOW... what a revelation it is. I got a 1.5 Ohm coil and it has a 1050 mAh battery with a max 20W of power driving it. There is no comparison to the old vape pen, it has Variable Voltage (VV) and Variable Wattage (VW) so I have the option of Manual mode or auto, i's a bit like comparing using a point and shoot Auto shoot camera versus Aperture or Shutter mode. I am running fully manual with VV and loving it. Got a sweet juice with it that tastes a bit like Vanilla/Orange with 12mg Nicotine. I'm already starting to think that 12mg may be a bit high as when I pump up the voltage I get a serious hit.

The only problem I have is that I am on my 2nd 2ml tankful of juice today so will be addicted to this now. Man...I smoke like a Storm drinks fuel. LOL I'm defo starting to feel the affects of not smoking and my lungs should gain some extra HP with a nice torque curve in time. My sense of smell is already getting more astute...argh Bisto.....Coffee. I love this little device, it has plenty of airflow and has enough power to give me the hit I need. I don't think it will be cheaper than smoking but the pro's outdo the cons. I can see myslef experimenting with all kinds of devices and flavours. Sub'ing will be next and then I will most likely get into dripping and mechanical mods along with building my own coils. But for now this new device is doing it's thing and I am getting the hit I require. I shall be getting rid of all the smoking paraphernalia next. Bye Bye ash trays. I might have to get a loose leaf tank and atomizer though for those special occasions.

Anyway here's a pic. Nice and stealthy. It would look good in some Carbon wrap

would it help if i posted some pictures on my lungs when i had Lung cancer! 1 looked buggered and i have never ever smoked.
I'd like to see them, but No it wouldn't help otherwise there would be no such thing as addiction. It's like those horror pictures they put on fag box's/packets, yeh they get the curiosity going but it wont put people off. Now I know how anti smoking you are Paul and it's for very good reasons too mate. But I have to say Alcohol is just as bad if not worse. More money is spent in hospitals and policing because of fights caused by alcohol not to mention the liver disease and other problems associated with it. It's just that one is socialy accepted and one is not and the media like to make things that are not socialy accepted to look worse than what they are and what is socially accepted to look better than what they are. That's the power and influence of the media which is often fed from government. You don't think these hoons in Parliament have any intention of giving up their Champagne dinners do you. They even have their own bar in Parliament. I think Nigel Farage has been barred from there LOL

You can't compare vaping to smoking. All you have in the flavoured juices, as long as you don't buy unregulated Honk kong crap, is Vegetable Glycerine (VG) and Propylne Glycerine (PG). Both items we all take either in foods or medicines. Heck...Propylene Glycerine is even in Asthmatic inhalers as a vapor, it's just not heated up, that the only difference. So one could argue that it will help our damaged lungs from years of smoking accept the drugs are not held in suspension in the PG.

http://vaping360.com/pg-vs-vg-what-is-t ... uld-i-use/

Dr Michael Mosley done some interesting research and testing into things on a TV programme a while back and as a non smoker he even started vaping on a daily basis over a few weeks. His doctor colleagues thought he was insane LOL but then they are a very conservative bunch and sucked in by what is told to be right or wrong and socially accepted or not. Influenced or brainwashed by what they are told. To cut a long story short the outcome is that if you are a non smoker then there is no point in starting, but if you are a long term Tobacco smoker the benefits far outweigh the negatives. They cause very little harm and the little harm they do cause is probably no worse than the harm from Asthmatic inhalers and anything else where PG/VG is used like in our medicines and food.

We breath more rubbish in from exhaust fumes and pollution. Maybe it's time that was made socially unacceptable.
The coil is built into a pre filled, disposable tank
That would be a cartomizer then carton and atomizer (coil) combined which is from the early days of vaping ecigs if you like. Some prefer these and even more experienced vapers sometimes prefer these as you can get a more pure hit from them similar to dripping. The downside is that they are expensive and you have to make air holes in the side of the metal carton unless you pay more and get the ones with pre drilled air holes set at the right level. They can be compared to dripping for flavour and hit.

One thing you guys should be aware of and this is where the true dangers come in to play is if you go the sub ohm (sub'ing) so anything with coils below 1.0 ohm you need to be careful with your batteries and higher voltages/watts pushed through them. Voltages is what gets pushed through and watts is the final output at the other end, like a light bulb if you like  More volts that push higher amps (current) with less resistance means more heat. Good for flavour and making clouds if you want to go cloud chasing but you can get just as good a hit from a good quality higher resistance and lower voltage device. More heat means more wear and tear on components (like an Regulator Rectifier shunting), you can think of the coil (resister) like a fuse and they do go pop. You will also go through a lot more juice usage.

Don't push you battery to their limits or you risk a lithium battery venting especially if old and tired. They should have small vent holes for damage limitation built into the device otherwise you potentially have a pipe bomb if you battery ends up like Micky's did on his VTR. Please don't cover these holes with you fingers while using the device. Dealers should not be selling these devices to inexperienced users that don't understand what going on, Ohms law. I guess they don't get the chance to ask or advice over the net. Luckily a lot of these more modern all in ones (AIO) non mechanical mods contain safety chips in case of a short from a burnt out broken coil (resister) but these can fail too as they are only electronics, so just be aware. You also have a safety margin regulating watts (VW) over voltage (VV) as the device will then alter the voltages according to the resistance to get the required output ie watts. Don't forget what we are essentially doing here is playing with electrical current and some like to push boundaries more than others.

Like Kev64 and Lloydie I also use a Coolfire IV, with a Kanger Aerotank. Lovely, but I occasionally crave the fags when pissed.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!

lloydie even provides his own specialist lube, a mix of Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerine depending on the amount of friction required. I think he even has an option of colours for speed control

Well I am still going strong on this new device but am getting a little fed up with having to refill the tank all the time. It's a little too small so bigger tank is required. Also the small tank affects it when tilting or laying down and having a drag. Drag is that related to above :eek2 Might get myself an angled drip tip.

There's a vape device for Alcohol for you non smokers. Comes in nice Rainbow colours.
