just doing the sums over the 3 days the milage will look like this for me coming from the midlands:

friday = 400
Sat = 300
Sunday =400
total =1100miles = 11 tanks of petrol [12l @ £1.35] = £180 :D before I have to add oil and tyres and the ibuprofen to stop my knees seizing :lol:

at least it stops the kids inheriting it and then pissing it up the wall :lol:

anybody else want to increase their carbon footprint?

Why not just make it the weekend before? surely that sorts all your problems. No anniversary to worry about, or did you all drop a bollock and get married around the same time? :lol:

I hate to drop this one now but I have had something come up too.

My mate is organising a camping trip for his 30th and as luck would have it, it's on 16th 17th august. Not sorted for sure yet, but probably will be soon. Total fking nightmare.

I haven't decided either way yet, I really want to do this ride but I don't want to let my mate down.

If by any chance the weekend changed that would be excellent.

If not, I'll just have to cross my fingers this 30th camping trip falls through.

Looks like I had better look at what options I have for the weekend before, let me see what work issues I might have and see if we can rebook

OK,
with Adyf and Miztaziggy not able to do the 16th, 17th & 18th we fall below critical mass and would have to cancell.

So to still try and get this rideout going, the next option is to pull forwards 1 week to the 9th, 10th 11th. Looks like this could work for me, but I would still be looking for a min group of 4 [me and 3 others to make this work].

GrumpyFrog, can you do 1 week earlier?
Ady & Chris, you able to get the friday 9th off ?

Unfortunately not, I have a handover meeting in Bicester on Friday 9th and I won't be done there till around 2-3pm, meaning a 2 hour drive home, possibly be able to set off at about 5.30pm. Might not be the end of the world thinking about it, at least it will have cooled down by then. Only problem would be setting up a tent in the dark.

I am still hopeful my mate's 30th camping weekend will get cancelled to be honest, that guy can't organise sh1t.

Grumpyfrog, good news that you are still in, so we are going to provisionaly hold the date of 16th and see if Chris's mate proves to be unable to organise a piss up in a brewing establisment.

otherwise this run might end up cancelled :(
