Measured just now, but it is dark in garage and I'm not sure I got this right but I have them at 760 and 920
But I am knackered so that's my excuse
Will maybe take them off to measure ( they need to come off anyhoooo)

I'm thinking that master cylinders like this might mean less fairing cutting

https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/351358903151

I'm a little nervous about stuff imported from China, ( some of it is meant to be good, but brakes?)

but does anyone know of a UK supplier, or if I can get similar from a different bike?

It's finding a matching lower profile clutch master cylinder that is proving problematic :(

I am drawn to those Chinese ones listed as they look the part......but so did the Titanic!

Personally I wouldn't worry about it being Chinese, but if you are worried, then there must be plenty of bikes out there with a clutch cylinder like the one you're after?

Cbr 600 has that type of master, but is a different piston diameter so will effect your brake feel.

But if you get both master and calipers then you also get improved braking performance ... See this thread http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic ... 31&t=15494

I never bothered to change the clutch master cyl as it sits inside the fairing and has no effect on how much you need to cut off to clear the bars.

Have a look at these photos

As above. the clutch side is ok for clearance , its the brake side, when i had the high bars on mine i used the standard storm master but changed the big standard reservoir for a mini motox one and it fitted fine.

Thanks again for the info and assistance

CBR 600 master cylinder on its way to me as we type.

Are the calipers a straight swap?

calipers need a little bit of machining to clear the fork leg lugs .... or the fork leg lugs need a bit of machining to clear the calipers..... or do what i did and take a bit off both!
