Update June 2012

Taking longer than expected :eek2

1. Made a new seat unit, this one smaller so it sits on top of the frame
2. Sorted rear light
3. Cut up original seat unit ready for recovering
4. Got a set of Monster clocks and made a temporary bracket until I can get one made
5. Drilled out the chain tension bolt from the swing arm
6. Made a headlight bracket
7. Sat and looked at it :lol: :lol: :lol:

:thumbup: coming along nicely tho mate, Mmmm no what your saying about the wheels, recon all cafe racers should have a nice set of chrome spoke wheels 8)

Yep, I keep seeing the Super moto wheels for sale but not sure how to go about seeing if they fit :(

It's looking good, front will look better with big discs fitted....very impressed :thumbup:

Have a word with Central Wheels, they will steer you toward what's available and sizes etc. They're not cheap though. Did you see the Yamahe XT restoration on the Motorbike show on ITV4? Central did the wheels for that.

Didn't see it Kev, and thanks for the tip

They really are too expensive

I can get a set of supermoto wheels for £200

I just need to sort out the spindle size etc and make sure I can get any bits made

I spoke about the idea of putting indicators in the ends of the frame
