Just a little update, been working on the linkages and swing arm. New bearings all round so should feel like new! I've also ordered some tube to build a new sub frame so will update when I get started.

Looking good  That paint IMHO gives an industrial look in a good way,

Chris.

Cheers Chris, thats what I was going for. I'm an industrial designer by trade so it's a case of using what I know. I've also taken a lot of inspiration from the nrw yamahas.

Should there be free play in the linkages by the way? Got 3mm od free play left to right......

No you shouldn't have any free play in the linkages. Did you torque them all up 33 lb ft and have you got the little slideout spacer in the bottom of the shock. I have been doing the same today. Got my back end back on the bike.

I want to get some of that truck liner paint now. I really like the look you have achieved there. I also like the way you have continued it on over the chain adjuster end but leaving the inner bits ally. Looks fantastic. Have you not got the rubber that goes over the swingarm on the chain side. It will protect it. And you might want a spring on that shock
