Ah sorry guys, missed the updates on the thread.
The -D41's has a larger bottom bleed hole of the lower three (closest to the thread. The -640's run all .8mm bleed holes, the -D41's have a .9mm bottom hole. A touch leaner later in the fuel curve, not sure where, I don't know what rpm the bike is at when the fuel level in the bowl drops to the said bleed hole.

With regard needles, pre 2001 Australia models ran A1UC & A1UD, after 2001 they changed to A1UE & A1UF. I was working for Honda Australia in '97 when the VTR's were released, I saw on our parts lists that some European models ran A1UB's in both cylinders, I realized (don't ask me how) that they were richer, so I ordered a set, I still have them but back in the day I attacked them with sandpaper.
