So, thinners (Lidl Baufix Thinners) wiped off the grease, wiped the disc as well, now working a treat, I can lock up the rear no problem

Sounds like jobsa good un :thumbup:

Well done :D I never worry about the rear brake too much anyway. You can always knock it down another cog and let the engine braking do it's job :D

I have brembo rear pads, but I find them to strong, and it's all to easy to over do it. great pads on the front, but i'll try something else on the rear next time round.

They are strong, I tend to use the rear all the time though, so prefer a strong rear brake

Definitely going to use some on the front next time
