Getting back on track - there's an article in this month's Bike magazine about leathers. According to their expert most leathers are dyed, so any treatment doesn't actually get through to the leather. I dunno though, I use a leather food and my Alpinestars certainly seem more supple afterwards. Shame it doesn't work on the creaky old rider.

I've been using Gliptone liquid leather cleaner and conditioner, works great and smells like new leather.
