My son used to have a Suzuki Wolf 125. Very quick - even quicker at blowing up engines :(
Two bikes, still only four cylinders!

I had the first of the cbr125s as my first bike, I loved it to bits even though it shared nothing in common with a "proper" cbr except indicators lol

I did once get 90 out of it, but that was down a hill resembling a cliff face that was about two miles long. Plus it made it sound like a two stroke it was revving so hard lol

I can only get mid 78mph out of my KH125 [appropriate considering its also when it was built], but the trick is to ride it without loosing any momentum.. throttle to the stop all the time

My mate had a girlfriend who had a TZR 125 and she got 110 out of it I know that because I was behind her on my GPZ 600 the new 125's are not as fast but handle better and more reliable than the strokers I only wish I could afford to spend that on a bike it cost double what I paid for the storm.

I know its slightly off topic, but if I had to have small fun bike I would either have a Yamaha rd 259 or an rd400. A proper old skool, air cooled two stroke. I never grew up in tht era and would love to have a go.

really gives 600 sportsbikes a run for their money on twisty roads, power to weight ratio is over 500bhp per tonne iirc

I know it sounds a bit if an old mentality, but I prefer a bike with character. I would love to have a new triumph thruxton and do a bit of nodding to it.

I had one of the best strokers ever a RG500 Gamma a square 4 engine and a cassette type gear box I could take that gear box out and put it back in a half an hour which included taking the belly pan off clutch then the gear box I had to replace two gears because it slipped out of second under hard throttle a common fault with that bike. Wish I had it now as they go for up to £15000.

I followed an Aprillia RS125 down the A5 a few years ago doing in excess of 100mph. It even had L plates.

My Suzuki DR125 struggled to do 60.
