Ian,

you probably won't get 21w bulbs, that why you need the resistor to fool the flashers unit into thinking it's got 21w bulbs in. Show us the bulb then and see if we can get it up to 10w. 4w is well low, wot they from a toy??

What was the outcome of this thread, it seems to stop with no real answer? I've just got myself a pair of little indicators that are fitted with 3 watt bulbs! Do I need to get resistors fitted? Where do you get them from?

Err, I managed to get some 21w bulbs and modified (there's a shock) the inside of the indicator to take them so no resistors needed.

Never thought of putting the origonal bulb and stuff into the new unit. I'll look into that.

Ok, the old bulb is too big to go into the new indicator, so it looks like I'll need to go down the resistor route. Anybody know of any on-line retailers of these things? I dont even know what these things look like?

prolly easier to get Del to sort it out though........

he has a supplier for blubs etc...... would prolly be able to get you some to fit..... (at a small cost of course)
