ran a set of these for a few years and they were 100% clear 100% of the time.... kind of regret selling them.......

am currently running these:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Motorcycl ... 07&vxp=mtr

these are affected by vibration, notably on the throttle side, though they remain effective (not nearly as good as the ones listed earlier, which were perfectly clear at all times). As for getting used to them, it was quick.

Feeling a bit more sore as the night has gone on but nothing compared to what I'll feel after some sleep :s

I was born with this face. That's what's wrong with it

Hadn't put me off in the slightest. All I wanted to do was get back up there and go round again but I couldn't :(

Well today has been expensive and it's only 1pm, nearly. Had to get new lid and boots after yesterday's crash at mallory park which wasn't to bad but still 400quid. Then I took the bird down to get the front wheel balanced and it turned out it was the tyre at fault not the rim so it couldn't be balanced. Had a flat spot in the tyre and puncture repair gloop on the inside. So that involved a new pr3 and 125 quid fitted, balanced and both tyre pressures set. But I can claim 15quid back from the manufacturer as part of a promotion there doing

Bled front brakes and clutch, got clutch working, bodged up front caliper- one mounting hole is stripped; I'll have to sort out a helicoil kit- changed the Ti captive front wheel spacers, as they were pushing the forks apart slightly and kept causing seals to wear.
Fitted new fork seals, took it for MOT, (passed, advisory on loud exhausts- who'd have thought it?).*

First unintentional wheelie on the way back, but then it's still running in- less than 5 miles on the rings, mains, big ends, so I won't be thrashing it (until about four o'clock this afternoon or so, anyway).

It feels ok, but then it is the first shakedown run on the new oversized inlet valves and the fuelling is too rich in places, so some work to be done getting jetting settings before the Devonian funday.

Tried to insure it this morning, but discovered that I'd already done that back in February....
The tried to tax it after the MOT: ditto, it taxed until Feb next year.
I quite like this getting old and forgetting stuff, it don't half save you some money.....
Best go and thrash it, I suppose.

Couple of tanks of Super and I should have it run in by teatime, in time for a celebratory bevvy and a watch of the BSB and car GP quali.
Might respray the bellypan later.

Not too bad, as days go!

*I appear to have forgotten to put the baffle material in the rebuilt cans- silly me....
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
