I'm gonna polish up with fine grade n wd 40 n see what happens

I polished them right up when I did the rebuild and they looked amazing, then they went brown after 1 ride!

So feck em' is what I say.

Some nice bloke painted mine matt black before passing them to me. The paint work is holding up nicely so far and looks good :thumbup:

its because some MOT testers are "Jobs worths" i know one! he don't get to do many MOT,s but he is a great mechanic, far too law abiding regarding noise though. He is the only guy i know with an as new 916 Duc still with standard cans on!!!

wipe them over with a rag covered in GT85, then watch it smoke a tad when you start up! keeps them nice though.

more exhausting exhaust cleaning, almost finished now, i'll take some pictures later, thank god for a dremel, even tho the bits are so expensive..... :roll:
