this been my first twin any top tips on what to do to keep it running sweet
best oil to use etc etc

semi-synth, keep carbs balanced, don't worry about the crunch going from first to second and change gear early, no point in lots of revs.

Same as any other bike really, keep it up to scratch maintenance wise and change the cam chain tensioners with modified or manual ones ( do a search on here, loads of info) and it won't give you any problems.

all the differant gareges i have worked use differant oils
but my mate has had an old goldwing about 15 years now
and uses semi sinth rock oil and never had the engine apart
think thats a good ad

DO powder coat everything, DON'T polish anything, then you dont cry when you ride it all winter :lol: fully syn motul in mine & its done 69,700mls, another ride out should see the big 70,000 8O and you've ridden with me :wink:
