Now if you could only have the money to buy up bikes and store them too. Hansome profit over initial purchase price. Take up less room than classic cars etc too.

I've bid on it a few times

Just ... well ..... cos I'm sad OK, I said it. (At least I can say I nearly owned it)

Please Please Please can my numbers come up on Saturday - I swear I'll be good and do the washing up for a month (well a week at least).

Bugger it! - I'm gonna do the Euro millions and the Irish Lotto this week!

Anyone got the numer for the Samaritans - I might need it in 3 days and 16 minutes.

Well they were reputed to 'fire every lamp post' but that was just an urban myth (Except 'urban myths' didn't exist then or did they? :? ).

Anyway they do sound lovely (if you're into singles, twins, triples). :D

And torque!!!! :o They may not have been the fastest thing on the road, but the Model 100 (598cc) & 120 (650cc) could pull a truck up a hill.
Lots used for sidecars the size of a small caravan! Loads of GRUNT.

This site has lots of lovely old bikes on and sounds too. Unfortunately no Panther sounds

There's a nice sound byte of the Britten V1000 (Nirvana below) on this site though...

I'll got lie down now ..... when I've finished salivating.

I'm all upset again now

I owned a Panther, like that one, for a while. Bought it off a mate who dropped the clutch from a standing start and dumped his girlfreind on the tarmac............paid £5 for it.

70 mph up or down hill, with sidecar or without. Very long stroke, wet sump, well made.
She's my idea of beauty and thats what I ride.
