Dunno if it makes much of a difference in the real world except if you come across a really fussy insurance assesor when you make a claim

cheers.

the reason i asked, was that a freind of mine has a 916, and was told that many owners chop between 180 & 190, as it can make a difference to turning in.....

obviously not that big a difference then.....

Hi Essexbloke.
Yes you will find a difference fitting the 190. I haven't done it on the storm but I have on other bikes. I doubt there will be much difference between bikes as all the one's I've tried it on it had the same affect.
The larger cross section will slightly slow your flickability from side to side but you'll probably have more confidence to wring it's neck(especially coming out of corners). Wear will be about the same as before (funny that.More rubber and all that). The bike will have a different feel to the handling but you'll soon get used to it. Mind you this time of year I can't imagine getting a chance to see if it's an advantage or not.

Just remembered!
About the fit. If you've got a hugger, probably not.
