I got a good ride-out in this morning on the Storm. Not that warm as very little sunshine about, just a cold breeze which wasn’t helping.
I was back home just before 10am, 5 minutes later it started raining, how lucky was that

what have you done to your "bike" today

Took the Biffa for a spin to Hastings today to familiarise myself with it before Devon. I must say I quite like it and prefer it much more than the Multistrada.
My arms ache a bit as I haven’t ridden much in the last 2 years due to a frozen shoulder, pain killers will help for the long ride hopefully

Blast out on The Murvinator, Drop off some parcels, then on to get some shopping, back home via 3 petrol station looking 4 some Dot4...

You'd think that if they have room for 10 different brands of oil they could squeeze in a few bottles of brake fluid, but no 3 of them to busy selling groceries...FFS.

Stopped at the old school filling station near me & bingo Dot4 in stock.

Spent the rest of the day out side, gave The Murvinator a rub down with WD-40, The good stuff out of a 5ltr can, better than the spray cans. Cleaned, lube'd & adjusted the chain.

Spent the rest of the day stripping bits off the scrap engine, starter motor, front head, sprag clutch & the sump. Gave up at that point, want to get the oil pump off but have to take the 'kin clutch off to get at one of the bolts... It can wait.

Spent the PM Fettling The Murvinators Front callipers.

Noticed the level was low on the res pot on the way in to work on Wed's.

As I have F4i callipers & the square res pots it's just a little round window.

Last ride home on Friday, they were still working as they should but getting a bit noisy.

So drained out the old fluid, took the pads out, took the callipers off & gave them a clean.

New pads in SBS Street, which I had in stock.

New fluid in. Pressure up & good.

Boxed it all up.

Job's a good un.

There may well have been a few more miles on them but some were a fraction off the wear grooves.

So best changed.

I think most of us are getting a fraction off the wear grooves, Mac.

It only seems yesterday that I was getting a discount off the rare grooves. Oh, well.
It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.
