Lying snow in the South East.

Post by tony.mon »

We were promised snow.
Three bloody flakes and a bit of frost.

Lies and damned lies; the snow round here is positively deceitful.

I spent an hour walking up and down outside the local shop, trying to slip and break a hip so I could sue them for enough money for a new bike. Not even slippery dog sh1t.

What's gone wrong with the world; do I have to spend my own money buying a new bike????

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

I went out for a morning constitutional stroll this morning at 07.30...

The pavements were quite slippery in places, almost had a a new bike in me hip pocket but stayed upright...

Have you had much of the white stuff in Padstow? I know Dartmoor had a good covering...

Not had much at all here, one overnight ''wintery shower'' soon washed away with good old British rain.

Nothing here so far Mac, not sure about Padstow as I am a bit further down. I have heard of a wintery shower or two not far from here, although like your area, soon washed away with rain,
