Out with the Old - In with the New

Post by Bink »

Folks,
Just letting you know that the VTR is gone and I traded he for a 3 month old KTM SuperDuke. Loved the Storm but the KTM is in a different universe alltogether!! Anybody who's thinking of the same swap ... I can recommend it!!
I'll most probably won't be on this board much again so I'll say my good bye etc.

All the best and keep the Firestorm flag flying :!: :!:

Hi Bink mate, you'll be missed :!: Good of you to let us know about your new bike. According to this months Bike mag they rate the KTM as 'New king of UK roads' so the same must apply to where you live :!: So please let us know your verdict after you've covered a few miles :!:

Cheers Chris.

Is this really what it sounds like

Going green with envy, looked at the Duke in a dealers recently and also the Supermoto....

Then remembered my impending divorce and the financial ruin that I'm going to suffer for years to come
.... no more bike, divorce sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had it since Satuday and already feel much more comfortable on it on the roads then I did on the VTR (which could well be a personal thing)

When I bought it I noticed that the tyres are chewed up on the edges. At the time I reckoned that the previous owner had sneaked in a track day before handling it back to the KTM dealer ... Now I realise this just happens on the way to work.
It really is that good on the roads! I was sceptical at first reading the reviews. But now I no longer go round bends like a big girls blouse (by my own admission  ) ...
A test ride is highly recommended!!
