I've been going around the houses trying jets and shims, but still couldn't get the damn thing fuelling correctly. It's also taken me ages to find a dyno operator who'll work with carbs but eventually I came across Moto Hub in Stoke who were happy to take a look.
I couldn't leave the bike with them so we spent an hour on loads of runs, full power to roll-ons in all gears and various initial throttle openings. So now I have a ton of info of which the only great news is the bike is healthy.
It's lean on idle but rich on the mains and mega rich on the needle. So there are some drastic changes to make, starting with smaller mains and dropping the needle as much as possible. I've got some stronger slide springs to try too. Once I've got it closer to where it needs to be I'll book it in again. Never a quiet moment with this thing.
