Re: A dander thru time..
Rob, you've had some cracking bikes there over the years, and still have
Quite a hairy machine the KX500 with it being a 2 stroke I imagine.
The GSThou takes me back to when I had mine, although mine wasn't a shaft drive.
Fantastic you have so many photo's of your old bikes, I wish I had a lot more of my old bikes,
Chris.

I didn't think my GSThou handled that bad, but mine was a chain drive, and that was back then
I owned the GSThou for 20yrs and took it to the IOM TT.
The KX was worse than I even imagined
Chris.
Re: A dander thru time..
I had 4 GSs, a shafty thou, a chain thou and 2 850 shafts...and all the shafties where like boats but still loved them. brought me all over Europe a few times without bother , i did manage to stuff the last one into a car, actually right inside the car

Re: A dander thru time..
Now why doesn't that surprise me, I see a bit of a pattern going on here with certain bikes
Back then the Suzuki gearboxes were the best, so slick. I'm not sure if that is still the same with today's bikes or if the other 3 main Japanese manufactures have caught up
Chris.
