Windscreen double bubble

Post by Acke »

Hey,

At 183cm I'm catching quite a bit of wind in my face...
Seen these huge windscreens which I'm not very fond of and just now I stumbled upon something called Windscreen double bubble.
Does any of you have any experiences with it?

Price is a no brainer tbh. 22.35gbp

I have a double bubble screen on my Storm. On how well they work depends on the measurement from your buttocks to your head, meaning it’s not always your height that is the most important factor. What works for some doesn’t always work for others. At that price I would say it has to be worth trying.

Fingers crossed it’s what you’re looking for,

Chris.

If you spend a lot more you can get a flip up touring screen... Be better than a DB one...

Theres also a clip on deflector thing out there that some people have used...

I'm the same height as you. My DB screen drove me insane with head turbulence unless I was in anything other than flat on the tank.
I refitted the standard screen and it now pitches the wind into my chest, which is far more comfortable, and no more head wobbles!

Oh no! That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid...
Well I will give it a go and let you know...

There are a few different DB screens. If you are over 6' tall the Puig DB works well
