Wheel bearings??

Post by Donut 77 »

Any ideas what the difference (other than price) is likely to be between these 3 different bearing sets on eBay with basically same picture, ranging from £13 - £18

Or the slinky glide set on wemoto for £30

I would be happy to use Koyo or NTN bearings myself,

Cheers Chris,

That’s very useful to know as that would halve the price.

Obviously it also assumes the seals are the same quality.

I have heard that Koyo are often faked?!

I don't know about knock-off's, I was referring to genuine bearings from Koyo and NTH :)

Most likely the best wheel bearing seals are going to be the OEM genuine Honda products. However if you're intending to be doing more track days, wheel bearings etc are going to be subject to a harder life than in normal road use so after market seals should be fine, as the bearings will be changed on a more regular basis where the seals will be then be replaced too,

Chris.
