I used left over "special silicone" that came with my carbon adi case covers and it has held up very well :thumbup:

Yep!
High temp silicone all day long. Unless the gap is too sloppy between the surfaces. Then I would probably look for a bit of silicon sheet ( like what you can use for putting hot plates on) cut it to size and then stick it in place with high temp silicon
