Still makes me laugh with the banter between Julian Cope and Pete Wylie where Cope's song 'Liver Big as Hartlepool' was a riposte to Wylie's anthemic 'Heart as big as Liverpool'...I don't have favourites and like them both :D

Right now listening to the Huey Show on Radio 6, only on once a week but I like how eclectic it is, something for everyone

Last night I was at a Kris Barras gig, 250 capacity and sold out. The man can bend a string, sure thing.
Posted today as my ears are still ringing, so that qualifies.

While I was hanging out the washing I listened to "Papa's got a new pig bag", by Pig Bag, recently. Great tune.
Can't think why that popped into my head, though...

Sea girls, Vaccines, Wombats and Two Door Cinema club in Crystal Palace park this afternoon/evening.

Update:
It was a good gig, all are recommended for seeing live.

Turns out I'll be seeing the Vaccines again in a few weeks when they support Noel Gallagher's high flying birds.
Ah, well, at least I'll know all the words next time.

Rainy Brighton tonight, or maybe it's the cheap lager thrown from behind. Anyway, Vaccines are good again.

Primal scream, the Waterboys, Reef and the Easy Star All Stars at Beautiful Days, Devon.
Dreadzone. Skindred, Gaz Combes, Public Service Broadcasting and the Levellers tomorrow night.

I'm getting my money's worth.
And draught beer (Otter) is only a fiver a pint, so all good.

They were great, unfortunately they didn't have the visuals that they normally have, just a curtain backdrop with their name on, no projections.
They had a guest German singer/keyboard player for a few songs. Then she left the stage before they played Spitfire bird!

(Don't mention the war)

Watched them all except Gaz who I napped through!
