Correct (suitable) cabling/connector blocks

Post by yellabell »

Where online can I buy suitable cabling in the correct colours and ratings for various rewiring tasks? Also the correct connector blocks? Amongst other things, I have a spare speedo sensor which someone chopped short. I want to get the sparkies at work to rewire it.
Pic is just grabbed from an Internet image. Cheers

Possibly not a source because of the US location, but it is a good resource for figuring out what the connectors are. I have purchased from them and they are a solid seller. Also go with a quality wire, more strands of copper and cross linked insulation. The wire is going to be costly, depending how much you are doing, as it will best to have a fair length of different colors and sizes. You will also need an open barrel crimping tool if replacing connectors.http://www.cycleterminal.com/index.html
I think this is the connector you posted a photo of. Fourth one down.

Another option is this site: https://www.bikerstoolbox.co.uk/acatalo ... es-p1.html

I have not used this company myself, but 'mjvw' has, see link: https://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopi ... 00#p494900
