How to choose a pressure washer and our pick for the best 3 pressure washers

Are you looking for the best pressure washers? If so, our The King Live editorial team has good news for you! After spending days and nights conducting research, seeking out information from reliable sources, and getting advice from experts, we are pleased to provide you with useful information on how to choose a pressure washer, as well as providing our pick on the top 3 pressure washers available on the market.

How to choose a pressure washer?

A pressure washer is a sprayer that uses a high-pressure stream of water to wash siding, concrete floors, remove dust, paint, dirt, mold, mud from outdoor, and more. For most homeowners, the pressure washers which generate less than 5,000 are absolutely ideal for everyday use.

As standard, the pressure is measured in pounds per square inch (or PSI). The water flow rate is measured in Gallons per minute (or GPM). To choose the best of products, you should consider PSI and GPM to see whether an electric or a gas-powered pressure washer is best suits your needs.

A pressure washer can be powered by 2 main sources:
  • Electric: require less water (about 1-1/2 Gallon per minute) to perform light-duty tasks like washing the garage and cars.
  • Gas-powered: require about 2-3 GPM to perform heavy-duty tasks such as cleaning concrete, removing stains, and washing exterior siding for painting.

I've read people reporting blown tachs, bulbs and CDI's after reg/rec failures due to the occurring higher voltage.
Most stuff can only bear some 18V.

Maybe it's worth a try to measure charging voltage on your battery first.
