98 Firestorm rear undertray

Post by yellabell »

What undertray have I got fitted here? The part in white...

It's some kind of fibreglass part which is fitted beneath the original undertray. The previous owner has cut the old undertray down somewhat and done away with the area that held the original indicators. The new indicators are fitted directly to the bodywork. I'm debating whether to get rid of this white tray, find an original undertray and refit original indicators. I have got hold of a Givi monorack and I'd need to trim this white tray to allow the mounting brackets to fit the subframe. On the proper undertray I wouldnt need to.

That leads me onto the question, has anyone got a complete undertray (part no. 80100 mbb) up for grabs, pref with indicators too?

I think Powerbronze used to make undertrays very similar to yours except theirs were in ABS not fibreglass. I have seen fibreglass undertrays on Ebay in the past, I think they were copies (or similar copies) of the Powerbronze ABS undertrays. Yours could be one of those.
