RIP Wicky. You will be missed, you already are
As Pete said, thanks to all who managed to be there at the funeral representing the rest of us,
Chris.

Re: Farewell Wicky...
It was a good send-off, it's clear he was loved.
Seven of us attended; Mac, Alastair, Kev, Jonesy, Duffy, Jamie and myself. I didn't take any pics, it doesn't seem appropriate somehow.
We managed to miss the worst of the weather, the biggest rain and hail deluges were while we were parked up with some shelter nearby.
RIP, Wicky

It's not falling off, it's an upgrade opportunity.

Nice service, John was obviously well thought of by those who knew and loved him.
Hopefully the next time we meet will be under better circumstances.

Re: Farewell Wicky...
Difficult to know what to say after a day like today.
The loss of Wicky didn't really feel real or "sink in" for me, until we made our way to the service hall. We walked round to the entrance where his coffin was waiting to be walked in, with his colourful AGV helmet proudly displayed on top. That was enough for me to conjour up memories of John's big warm smile.
He was clearly loved by so many and it's easy for anyone to see why.

Thanks Guy's for keeping us who were unable to attend in the picture, very much appreciated,
Chris.

Re: Farewell Wicky...
Well done fellas for giving Wicky a send off, still doesn't seem real that he's gone.
I'm so unlucky that if there is such a thing as re-incarnation I'll come back as me!
Re: Farewell Wicky...
Thanks to Mac & Cj for sorting out all the details.
Some touching tributes from his friends, his various passions were well represented.

HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!
Re: Farewell Wicky...
Firstly thanks to Alistair, Kev L Duffy, Tony & Jamie for taking the time to attend & esp Jonesey who has been the main conduit with Wickys sister Angelina in sorting out the dates, times & location for us to attend.
Even if It took a bit of a faff to find the crem...
As said the weather was against us on the way there & on the way back for some of us... I think Wicky would have been laughing at that one...It did however stay dry just before, during & immediatly after the service.
Yes it was a nice, as nice these things can be, send off epesically with the AGV on the coffin.
Did you know acording to the gent conducting the service John rode a TVR & was well loved on the TVR forums... Who knew ?
Only the one Storm made it well done Nue Red.
For John's displeasure I got the bin/skip in the pic as well..It's what he would have wanted...
Finaly you have seen part of this but this is the rest with Johns choice of music...
Miss you Wicky...
Will raise a glass for you soon. Maybe not the type of beer with twigs n stuff in it that you like tho... R.I.P.

Re: Farewell Wicky...
hi everybody , ive been out of the loop for ?? years now and have logged on today to this terrible news ...
Wicky was a true gent , very knowlegeble and generous with his time and his offers of help, as an example the last time i saw him was when he popped up here to mine about (about 20 miles ) at the drop of a hat when i needed an extra pair of hands and some advice. All for a cup of tea and a bacon sarnie and the satisfaction of helping out a fellow biker
What a nice fella . he will be missed .
i only logged on to talk about headlight bulb retaining clips and this has really knocked me sideways, Mrs Lumpy also remembered the visit and recalled what a nice bloke John was ..
