Many thanks for the warm welcome guys

The bike already had polished rims when I bought it - in fact it was one of the things that won me over

. And I'm doing my best to keep them looking tidy. Otherwise it looks pretty much the way it did when I got my hands on it. I fitted the Renntec grab rail (quite elegant IMO) and a pair of mirror extenders (not so much, but they get the job done

).
And here comes the tricky part, but you might as well get the ugly truth sooner than later: I refitted the std. end cans

.
The VTR came with a pair of quite loud stainless cans. I have no idea of the brand, the only insciptions on them are: NOT FOR ROAD USE. And living in a pretty cramped residential area, I made the boring, grown-up choice to go with the std. cans, so I won't risk having things thrown at me when I start my daily trek to work in the early hours of morning

I hope you will get your new blade home soon - I'm sure it will be worth the wait
And I can easily relate to your comment on roomier bikes. I'm 190 cm (think thats 6ft 2in) and have had my share of cramped up legs
Is that your SP-2 on your avatar pic? It looks out of the box new
