this is more of a p.s ....... after the Assen trip I'm now looking into getting a hard luggage set for my vtr , can anybody help :?:
It's a bad idea to take a sleeping pill & a laxative at the same time !!

Givi racks are good, easy to fit and very strong, plus they do different sized boxes...

however..cheap they are not!

hey squiffy , thanks for the info & also the welcome , cheers matey . Have looked on the givi website but can't find a wingrack to fit the vtr , or do they do a universal system ............. hhhhhmmmmm . I shall have another look , cheers matey

LOL, well get a backpack then, or a tankbag, or a clip-under-the-seat pillion bag.

normally use the other half as the pack horse , carrying the rucksack but me thinks she's getting a bit sick of it & I'm not a fan of tank bags , got throw over panniers & a good ventura sports rack

I had a nonfango top box on mine. Was stable up to 130mph :oops:

buy a tourer as well :D

I keep the Firestorm for blats and fun, and use the FJR for everything else :)
