Nice work. Are you looking at using the Duc subframe or adapting the VTR unit to accept the Duc cowling? Inquiring minds want to know, lol
i was going to use what was left of the vtr subframe but i got a ducti one for a good price so we will see how it goes
If you think my attitude stinks ,you should smell my fingers !!
i'd love to have the fabrication skills to properly fit a different rear subframe and seat unit. I've always thought the std one was a tad bland.
keep up the good work buddy, you have some serious skills.......

actually, the more I look at it, it looks like an Aprilia RSV/Tuono tail... could be wrong though...
Its from a Ducati 1098
Thanks for clearing that up John

Well done Micky, you were right the first time and I was wrong
the 1098 frame is quite a good fit , just a bit of filing for the top mount but the bottom will need cutting and made longer ,i did order a under tray but its not much use as its a very poor fit to the seat unit due to the seat unit being a race rep

That subframe is art, maybe naked with a hugger and just a seat and small box to hide the battery and gubbins. Gonna be nice this
Break it, mend it, mod it, thrash it. If it's made then it's bettered by beer and goggles. Me bikes had Kwak ZZR, Suzuki TL1000s, Yama R1, Aprilia RSV. Now have VTR, Honda CB750 hand built brat/trickster, Yama XS750 and wee old Vespa.

been striping the wheels i was just going to polish the rims but was thinking about polishing the whole wheel but it would mean getting the tyres removed before starting , this is one i did for my last bike a Buell X1
they do look nice but a hell of a lot of work
