World Superbikes...
World Superbikes...
...new season kicks off next next weekend !
The money grabbing bastids at Sky were threatning to pull all of Discovery Chanels, chanels from their schedule, including Eurosports....arguing over costs but it would seem that has not happend so they must have coughed up...
Anyway it's on over the weekend 24/25/26 Feb...
Remember that Race One is on Sat, Race Two is on Sun & now with reverse grid to spice things up...Basicaly R1 1,2 & 3 will start R2 9, 8 & 7...4th place finisher of R1 will start from pole for R2...

Motogp testing Wednesday to Friday this week at Philip Island too. don't know if it's televised, probably not but will be good to find out how the teams and riders are doing, see if Vinales can still be on top.. also catch the lap times and see how they compare to Superbikes when they race a week or so later.

If you are with Plusnet for your broadband you can get YouView for £5/month which includes Eurosport (https://www.plus.net/tv/). For an additional £5/month you can get the BT Sport channels as well.

Re: World Superbikes...
i normally have something to look forward too, Jan is king soon, April is possibly skiing if the snow remains good, Also the bike racings on, and drier roads for the bike in the summer etc. Oct late riding if the weathers good, then back to the ski season. Good job i am still here i have loads to do !
missing the noise, not the vibes. However never say never!

Re: World Superbikes...
Excellent start to the season 2 great races, what's the thoughts on the reverse grid thing I personally think if you win you start at the front and it's up to the others to catch you
Re: World Superbikes...
I think the 2nd race reverse grid game is a bit of a bugger from the racers point of view [don't think Tom Sykes would say it worked for him, as I think he killed his tyres getting back onto the leading group], but for the spectator it gets more people in the mix and in the end the top 2 were the same.
